Open Call for Entries of Greek & Cypriot Artists

Brighton Greeks and the Hellenic Society of Sussex is excited to announce an Open Call for all Greek and Cypriot artists, to take part in our art exhibition at the Brighton Dome that will be held during the All Day Greek Festival in Brighton on Saturday the 15th of October 2016.

Disciplines Film / Handmade Jewellery / Ceramics / Craft / Textiles / Fashion / Fine Art / Photography /  Sculpting / Paintings and anything else related to art and creation.

Who can enter: We are inviting Greek and Cypriot individuals who either live or study within the UK, to join us by sharing and inspiring the public with their unique creations.

Stand fee: £40 which includes a table to exhibit your creations and pre-event promotion on our social media pages. Payments will have to be arranged via bank transfer to the Brighton Greeks with a reference code of the artists name, prior to the deadline of the application.

Selling: There will also be the opportunity to sell your products directly at the exhibition (No Commision)

All the artists are responsible for the transportation and collection of their work from and to the exhibition 

Marketing & Promotion

This will be an amazing opportunity for the selected artists to promote both themselves by networking with all festival attendees but also by expanding their artistic circles, paving the way for future collaborations.

All selected artists will:

  • Have their work photographed by a professional.
  • Have a personal artist profile on our website to portray their work for a whole year!
  • Be promoted on our social media platforms of Facebook, Instagram, Youtube & Snapchat.
  • Be included in the exhibition video recorded by a professional videographer.

Taking part in this exhibition will be a great way to build an artistic community that will be able to collaborate on future projects all around the United Kingdom. We always aim to promote and maintain the Hellenic culture, language, history and customs through everything that we do.
